Maine Resources

Many of the items listed in this resource booklet are

also available at one of the MaineCITE Program’s

partners, the Technical Exploration Center (TEC). TEC,

located in Bangor, has a variety of devices and tools

that can be tried out or borrowed. The program also

has numerous catalogues available for browsing. For

Another Maine resource is RATE (Recreation Assistive

Technology Exchange) located at the University of

Southern Maine. RATE has an up to date listing of

printed resources and links. While the majority of

these links deal specifically with recreational tools,

there are listings for non-recreational resources as

Additional Resources

There are also a number of references and some

searchable databases on the Internet. These online

databases allow you to search in a variety of ways such
